The Mammee Apple goes many many names but locally it is referred to as the Mansiport. The Mammee tree grows to about 59-69ft in height. When blooming this tree produces a fragrant white flower with four to six petals. The Mammee Apple is considered to be a berry. It is round and slightly irregular with a brown thick rind. Beyond the rind these is a fleshy orange or yellow juicy texture. Mamey fruit may help enhance immune function, promote regularity, prevent anemia, and support the health of your heart and skin.
