Date Palm

The Date Palm has a commanding presence. Its arching, gray-green, waxy fronds can reach more than 10 feet long, forming a stately crown at the top of the tree. The branches curve towards the top to provide an elegant open crown. It also produces an edible fruit, the date fruit, a solid, savory fruit that is best eaten straight from the tree.
