The yerba mate plant is a large evergreen shrub or small tree that has thick, leathery leaves with serrated edges and small, greenish-white flowers. Yerba mate fruit has a smooth, berry-like skin that ranges from red to black surrounding the tiny seeds. The leaves and tender twigs are the usable part of the plant and are dried to brew a caffeinated, earthy herbal tea.  Yerba mate is high in antioxidants, vitamin C, and B vitamins.
Price listed is the starting price as plants are priced based on Size and Maturity. Contact Us for Further Pricing.
